We also have policies in place where we can cover a foal from 24 hours after birth until the yearling sales i.e. a foal born in 2007 can be covered up to the yearling sales in 2009 subject to the policy period not exceeding 18 months.

On most insurance policies all we require is a proposal form completed and returned.  A veterinary certificate is only required on animals with a Sum Insured of $50,000 and over or foals less than 30 days regardless of value or horses aged over 12 years. Except for pleasure and performance horses sum insured $10,000.

Throughout the year both Ron Fitton attend all the major yearling sales ranging from Magic Millions January to the Ready to Run Sales in October
